Help with Vela

Vela is designed to be simple to use, but this page exists in case you need quick guidance, review context, or support details.

What Vela does

Vela is a self-management and planning app for women managing PCOS and insulin resistance. It helps users check in, see patterns, follow realistic plans, and organize notes for appointments.

Vela does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Getting started

Vela does not require account creation or sign-in.

You can use the app without Health app access. If you choose to connect the Health app, Vela reads selected categories only with your permission and uses them on-device to personalize guidance.

Vela does not write workouts, health samples, or other entries back to the Health app.

Common support topics

  • If the Health app is connected, Vela reads only the categories it needs and uses them on-device.
  • If a reminder time changes, the app updates the scheduled local notification on the device.
  • If the app is deleted, locally stored app data on that device may be removed.
  • Subscription billing and cancellations are handled by Apple through the user’s Apple account settings.

Troubleshooting

  • If Health app data looks out of date, open Vela again after the Health app has refreshed on the device.
  • If reminders stop appearing, confirm that notifications are still allowed for Vela in iPhone settings.
  • If a subscription does not update right away, use the restore purchases option inside the app and then reopen Vela.
  • If you are using the free version, some features remain limited until Premium is unlocked.

Contact support

If you need help with Vela, email support@kinorae.com.

For the fastest help, include a short description of the issue, what screen you were on, and whether Health app access or Premium was involved.

Support scope

This page is the primary support resource for Vela at launch. It is intended to help users understand the app, its privacy boundaries, Health app behavior, reminders, subscriptions, and common troubleshooting steps.

For urgent medical questions, severe symptoms, or emergency concerns, contact a licensed clinician or emergency services instead of relying on the app alone.
