Vela is designed to minimize data handling by keeping app data on-device whenever possible.
2. No Personal Data Collected by Vela
Vela does not collect, transmit to the developer, sell, rent, or share your personal data from within the app.
Vela does not require you to create an account, and Vela does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or trackers to monitor your activity in the app.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
Information you enter into Vela, such as check-ins, preferences, reminder settings, and plan follow-through, is stored locally on your device in the app’s local storage.
That local app data is used to personalize your experience inside Vela and is not sent to the developer’s servers because Vela does not use a remote backend for those features.
Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, this locally stored Vela data may also be included in Apple-managed device backups. Vela does not separately upload this data to the developer.
4. Health App Data
If you choose to connect the Health app, Vela may read selected Health categories, such as steps, active energy, workouts, recorded sleep, resting heart rate, and walking distance.
Health app access is permission-based and optional. Vela uses this information on-device to improve guidance, insights, and personalization.
Vela does not write health samples back to the Health app, and Vela does not collect Health app data for advertising, marketing, or resale.
5. Subscription Transactions
If you purchase a subscription, payment processing, billing, renewals, and certain transaction records are handled by Apple.
Vela does not receive your full payment card information. Apple’s handling of purchase-related data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and media services terms.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
Because Vela does not collect your app data to the developer, Vela does not disclose that app data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
If you choose to export or share information yourself, such as a doctor-prep summary, that disclosure is initiated by you.
7. Your Controls
You may revoke Health app permissions at any time through the Health app or iOS settings.
You may remove the copy of Vela data stored on your device by using any in-app reset tools or deleting the app.
If your device backups include Vela’s local storage, backup copies are managed through Apple’s backup settings and removal tools rather than through Vela itself.
8. Changes and Contact
