1. Introduction

ForgeFit is a fitness and nutrition planning app from Kinorae. It helps users plan workouts, log meals and water, track progress, and use readiness check-ins.

ForgeFit is for general fitness and nutrition planning only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention.

2. Information ForgeFit Stores On Your Device

ForgeFit stores user-entered app data locally on the user's device. This may include profile details such as display name, unit system, age, height, weight, fitness level, goals, workout preferences, and disliked workout types.

Local fitness data may include workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, completion timestamps, XP, badges, streaks, coach check-ins, manually entered step counts, and progress history.

Local nutrition data may include meals, custom foods, recipe ingredients, calories, protein, carbs, fat, serving sizes, water entries, nutrition targets, recent food searches, and cached food lookup results.

Local settings data may include reminders, notification authorization status, Apple Health connection status, and last Apple Health sync time.

ForgeFit is local-first. In the current version, your profile, workouts, meals, water logs, coach check-ins, and progress history are stored on your device and are not uploaded to a Kinorae server.

3. Information Sent To Nutrition Data Providers

When you search for a food, the search text you enter may be sent to USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts so ForgeFit can return sourced nutrition references.

ForgeFit does not send your saved meal history, workout history, profile, or progress history to those services.

4. Apple Health

Apple Health access is optional. If you grant permission, ForgeFit reads step count and body weight data only to help reduce manual entry.

ForgeFit does not write to Apple Health in the current version. You can manage or revoke Health permissions in iOS settings.

5. Notifications

ForgeFit may request permission to send local reminders. These reminders are scheduled on device and are used for app-related prompts such as workouts or logging.

6. Tracking And Advertising

ForgeFit does not include ad tracking, third-party advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs in the current build.

ForgeFit does not track users across apps or websites.

7. Data Retention And Deletion

Users can erase local app data from ForgeFit settings. Deleting the app may also remove locally stored app data from the device.

Depending on the user's Apple device and backup settings, local app data may also be included in Apple-managed device backups.

8. Children's Privacy

ForgeFit is not intended for children under 13.

9. Changes To This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest published version.
