What CleanLabel does

A faster way to review packaged food signals.

Scan a barcode, review simple signals, and decide whether a product fits your preferences. CleanLabel combines public product database lookups with on-device label text recognition for front labels, ingredients, and nutrition panels.

01

Scan or enter a barcode

Look up packaged food data from public product databases over HTTPS, or type a barcode manually when scanning is not convenient.

02

Review label details

Use on-device text recognition to read label sections like ingredients and nutrition panels without uploading images through CleanLabel.

03

Compare against preferences

Use profiles, watchlists, saved products, edits, and comparison tools to understand what is worth checking before you buy.
